Beautiful story and beautiful fish. Here is my prize from last night's fishing. I learned to fly about 2 years ago. What took me so long I'll never know why, as I've bait fished since I could hold a rod. We live across the street from a lake so I go over and fish off the neighbors dock. Was hoping for a Bass, but no luck. It's a great way for me to practice my casting and line management for when I can head to a trout stream in upcoming days.
