What a gift! We aren't in the position of needing mortgage payments, but the phone and power need paid and we still need gas and groceries. Treatments for my physical issues are nonexistent, have been for several months, until we get the second truck rebuilt and sold. We are at least on the cusp of getting halfway caught up on bills and finally getting more than a quart of cream for groceries; our last gun repair was picked and paid today and Tom's first pay from the new job comes Sunday. We are hoping that this is the last time we have to be at the bottom of the barrel.
Such a good moment in time to hear a story like this. Not to mention one of the best reasons to be a prepper I can think of! Abundance means generosity! Not hoarding. May we all have the chance to pay kindness forward. ❤️

The Horse ( 1831 )
William Youatt
( Two Copies - widely reprinted but mine First Editions I believe )
REALLY INTERESTING POINT :-
Found letter in back of book written I discovered by Coachman to Lady Dowager ( Coachman buried 26th December 1862 )
Letter gave Detailed Drug Recipes for Horse Ailments & Dog Distemper.
During Covid Lockdown I had the Local History Society of the Coachman's village Transcribe the Letter which was written in Copperplate . ( Under my TRUE NAME )
Gave copy to my Favourite Showjumper / Horse Breeder / Riding School Owner ( Recently at her mother's stables ) . I had Originally bought The Horse as I thought she would be Interested but kept as I did the second copy ( Told her the other week - Not sure she approved - Got a " Look " & " They would have been Interesting " )
Gentleman letter written to and owner of book may possibly be owner of one of the oldest Companies in Britain still in Family hands since 1600s ( Not 100% Sure of this )

Nimrod
( Bought as thought Favourite's brother may like as he " Rode to Hounds " ( Think he just liked the " Uniform " ) Also kept this in Cleadon ( Reference ) Library. Quite pricey online. He works on Oil Rigs then Wind Farms .
My Favourite says " Every book I buy is Rubbish and Every Book you give me is Excellent ( She still has them ALL )
ANOTHER INTERESTING POINT :-
I gave my Favourite an old book via her other Rigger brother but not sure if he passed it on.
I believe it would have been " The Best Book she ever read " . Biography of a Lady Showjumper full of Technical Detail ( Claimed Poverty but Very POSH & Well Connected ) .
I mentioned something very interesting I took from book but wasn't allowed to say as it would spoil her read.
I will share at a Later Date ( It cost less than £1 GBP in Salvation Army Charity Shop and very plain looking ( I have Good Eye for Books ).
